The Full Moon Backpacker Hotel

An eco-friendly Backpackers hostel situated in the heart of Bristol's famous cultural district Stokes Croft, just 10 minutes walking distance from the City Centre.

Our lively hostel provides a great base for travellers wishing to explore our much-loved city. With over 70 beds and a range of room-types, a busy bar, live music venue and large courtyard you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get to know like-minded people from around the world. The hostel is fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. For anyone looking for a good time in Bristol’s coolest part of town, this is the perfect hostel for you! 

For a year throughout 2015/16 we underwent a hugely exciting project calling on artists from Bristol and all over the world to decorate the hostel and rooms, each bringing an entirely unique theme and style. In line with Bristol's rich artistic and cultural scene, you'll find some fantastic artwork on display here whichever room you end up in!

Guests at The Full Moon Backpackers get free entry to our weekend events at The Full Moon Pub and Attic Bar. Recently voted by The Guardian as one of the Top 10 Best Clubs In The UK, you'll get the chance to experience a guaranteed great night out at a much loved Bristol venue hosting local and internationally recognised Bands/DJs every weekend. 

Every weekend you can find the 'Market At The Moon' in our courtyard, a hub for local trade and talent which showcases all that Stokes Croft has to offer. We are also a bicycle friendly place, with stands to leave your bike locked to and our resident hostel cycle mechanic who is happy to assist with repairs

PER NIGHT

6-Bed Female Dorm: ​£17.50 per person

8-Bed Mixed Dorm​: £17.50 per person

10-Bed Male Dorm​: £17.50 per person

10-Bed Female Dorm: ​£17.50 per person

Your first night must be paid for in advance either by credit or debit card to guarantee your stay. If you cancel your booking you must give at least 48 hours notice in order to get a refund.

 

WEEKLY RATE

If you are planning to stay a little longer then we do offer a weekly rate, however this only applies when paying the rate in full at the beginning of the week. This is also non-refundable. Maximum stay is 1 month.

Bespoke Private Double: £273 per week

Twin/Private Room: £227.50 per week

3-Bed/4-Bed Dorm: £101.50 per week

6-Bed/8-Bed/10-Bed Dorm: £94.50 per week

Our rooms are kitted out with chunky wood-framed bunk-beds, eco-friendly mattresses and cosy hemp carpets, to make you feel at home during your stay. Our guests are also invited to take advantage of our numerous facilities, which include:

THINGS TO REMEMBER

- Check-In begins at 3pm, if you do arrive early we will be happy to store your luggage and help with enquiries

- Check-out is at 11am unless late-checkout has been previously arranged

- We have no curfew and 24hr access! If arriving after 11pm please bring cash

- A £20 cash deposit and Photo ID is required on arrival, this is for everyone's safety as rooms are shared and a trading license requirement

- We do not accept guests under the age of 18, as we have a licensed bar on site

- Room A which is located on the ground floor with doors opening onto the courtyard of our premises has full disabled access and en-suite bathroom facilities

For hygiene and everyone's comfort, please use the bedding provided, guests are not allowed to bring their own!

A gentle reminder to all our future guests: The Full Moon is not only a comfortable place to lay your head at night, it’s also a great social hub with weekly music events, as well as fairs and festivals throughout the year! Be aware that weekends the bar can get lively and noise levels will be higher on Friday and Saturday nights.

 

GROUPS

We welcome groups of all sizes, subject to availability of beds. If you are interested in making a group booking please contact us via email or give us a call on 0117 9245 007. Groups of 8+ people are invited to breakfast with us for an extra £6.50 per person for a continental breakfast or £7 per person for a Full English Breakfast. Specific Group Terms and Conditions apply and payment for the stay is required in advance.

Please note we require a £20.00 room and key deposit per person which covers any damage caused. We also charge £30.00 at a time for anyone caught smoking in the rooms. We reserve the right to charge a cleaning fine if the rooms are left in an unreasonable state. We will not tolerate any abusive behaviour towards any guest or members of staff.

 

PARKING

 

We recommend that you choose to park in one of the nearby multi-storey car park facilities, either at Rupert Street, Bond Street or at Cabot Circus - where your vehicle is guaranteed to be secure. There is also free street parking available within a short 10-15 minute walk from the premises such as further up the Gloucester Road if you wish to park your vehicle there. Also available are parking spaces situated directly behind the premises at Brunswick Court and Portland Square. However there is a Bristol City Council parking meter charge for these spaces between the hours of 8am until 6pm, Monday – Saturday so make sure to check the street signs! CANCELLATION POLICY

 

The full amount will be refunded if we are given at least 48 hours notice of cancellation, prior to 3pm on day of arrival. If booked using Paypal, a small percentage transaction charge may be incurred. Please note a different cancellation policy applies to Groups (8+ people) depending how much notice we are given: 4 weeks or more: All monies will be refunded. 3 weeks or more: 25% of the booking is retained, 2 weeks or more: 50% of the booking is retained, Less than 2 weeks: No refund is given.
